This is a more in-depth review of a monographic treatment of Mycenaean decorated pottery from Troy, based on finds from all previous excavations, starting with Schliemann, Dörpfeld, Blegen, Korfmann to Pernicka. Since all these finds were studied over the years by the same person, Penelope Mountjoy, it can be further analysed as one body of material.
The review is meant also a bit as a manual on how to use the book, which is very dense, and I tied to place the results within borader research on Troy, which I am part of.
