Abstract
An overview article in Serbian introduces the Serbian professional public to the work of Czech folklorists over the past twenty years. Publication of ethnologist and folklorists from Prague and Brno are mentioned, which deal with traditional folklore genres as well as the area of so called contemporary folklore.
