The international workshop entitled "Historia Oculta. La representación de la mujer en el viejo y nuevo mundo a nivel local y global" was held in Salamanca at the field of University of Salamanca, Center for Brazilian Studies, University of Ostrava and Center for Ibero-American Studies of Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University.

It was focused on women's issues in the early modern period on both sides of the Atlantic. Namely, it was concerned with the representation of women and their role in history, particularly in the fields of religion, art and music history, and slavery.

In particular, he has worked on the sources for women's history, the study of feminine identities, the representation of women, and the circulation of ideas and practices between the old and new worlds.
