Abstract
The paper focuses on the analysis of the relationship: Prague businesswomen versus Živnostenská banka in the 1940s (especially 1945-1948). The first part of the contribution focuses on the question of who were the businesswomen who entered into a client relationship with Živnostenská banka.
The second part of the contribution examines the business strategies of both parties involved and the determination of this relationship by external circumstances (political situation, concentration of Czechoslovak banking, etc.).
