Between the Obvious and the Invisible - the Power of the Museum

Abstrakt

A co-hosted workshop dealing with visual methodologies consisting of a brief introduction to critical visual methodology (theoretical part) and concrete methodological exercises where participants analyzed selected visual materials from the scope of museum culture (ways of displaying, surveillance, spatial ordering, exhibition narratives etc). All the activities drew on the speakers' field work experience in museum sites.
