Abstract
A fundamental study of the literary operation of the Czech film industry during the First and Second Republics and the Protectorate. It discusses the constant enticing of writers to write for film, the help for beginning film authors, the listing of subject competitions, the subject action of Czech writers, which protected over fifty of them from total war deployment in 1944.
