The review sums up the details of Hélène Leclerc's engagement with the journal "In the Heart of Europe" and the role played by Lenka Reinerová as editor-in-chief. The study adds something new and essential to Reinerová's public image.
It is therefore regrettable that it ends with the stereotypical designation of Reinerová as the "last representative of Prague's German-language literature," thus falling short of the complexity it sets out for itself.
