The image of converts and conversion in early modern Jewish legal sources in the Habsburg monarchy

Abstract

The chapter deals with the images of religious conversion and converts from Judaism out and to Judaism, mainly in the rabbinical responsa literature that was written in the lands of the Habsburg empire in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
