The paper will focus on the reflection of pedagogical practices implemented within the study programme Teaching Czech Language and Literature for Secondary Schools at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. The presentation will be based on the authors' real experience in conducting seminars on pedagogical practices over the last five years.
The aim of the paper is to reflect on the role of the student, the accompanying teacher and the didactician at different stages of teacher education and in different types of pedagogical practice. In particular, the authors will focus in more detail on conceptual issues in terms of undergraduate teacher preparation (goals of pedagogical practice, possibilities of implementing pedagogical practice, student expectations and working with these expectations, influence of previous teaching models, etc.) on the one hand, and on real possibilities of collaboration with accompanying teachers and schools (organizational possibilities of the school, needs and expectations of accompanying teachers, faculty-school collaboration) on the other hand.
These two perspectives will be complemented by case studies of concrete situations from the implementation of teaching practices.
