Reference Level Descriptors of Czech Sign Language for levels A1-B2 provides description of Czech Sign Language, thus contributing to the improvement of its teaching as a foreign language, to the improvement of syllabus development or the setting of the language examination system. The document describes what a student (sign language user) should learn to be able to use Czech Sign Language for communication and what knowledge and skills are needed to be able to communicate effectively in Czech Sign Language. The document maps the Czech Sign Language from a functional and semantic point of view and describes its language resources, which it classifies into levels A1, A2, B1 and B2 according to the RRZJ. The language resources divided according to the level of difficulty of their mastery can be used as a methodological basis and standard in the design of teaching programmes in Czech Sign Language courses and in the development of teaching materials, as well as in the testing and evaluation of the language level of students.
It is the first Reference Level Descriptors of Czech Sign Language.
