Abstrakt
Among the most important sources are the conscriptions of Jewish families and familiants which are essential from a content perspective for the history of the Jews in Bohemia as well as for their economic and social position during the early modern period. The collection is currently preserved under the title Soupisy Židů in the National Archives Prague [Národní archiv Praha] and covers the period from the half of the 1920s (with transition from the 17th century) to the beginning of the 19th century.
Considering their character and scope the conscriptions constitute a unique source for the study of Jewish history in Bohemia at that time.
