Abstrakt
World crystallographic congress - congress of International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) is organized once in three years. The 25th congress was organized in the Czech republic for the first time. Czechoslovakia became a member of the IUCr in 1948 as the fifth member. Due to Covid restrictions in 2021, the congress was organized in hybrid form. The programme consisted of three plenary lectures, five lectures connected with prizes, 35 keynote lectures, 103 standard sessions, 7 special sessions, Software Fayre - always 9 sesssions in parallel, 55 poster sessions and several commercial presentations. In total, 624 lectures and over 550 posters in different forms were presented at the congress. The main congress organizer was the Czech and Slovak Crystallographic Association. In September 2022, the congress was awarded by Prague Convention Bureau for 2020-21.
