This workshops was organised to introduce selected representatives of the state administration, local government, business sector, NGOs and the public to the possibilities of deliberative and participatory approaches to landscape planning and the implementation of measures that increase the resilience of the landscape to the impacts of climate change. The workshops were based on ethnographic research in the localities, spatially explicit data and climate data; they used the Future Landscape Scenario Maps as a basis.
The combination of long-term field research, participatory approach, climatological analysis and future scenario building represents an innovative methodological approach.
