Abstract
The educational website Stories of Drought is one of the outputs of the four-year (2019-2022) research project Stories of Drought, TAČR TL02000048. It is intended for environmental education and awareness raising.
The data contained herein are based on multidisciplinary research on drought and water management in selected areas in South Moravia, which combined social and natural sciences (anthropology, sociology, landscape ecology, geography, bioclimatology,) and aimed at understanding how Czech society responds to changes in the natural environment due to climate change. The website has two levels. 1) The database is intended primarily for an adult audience, experts, ecologists and the general public interested in the subject.
The data and information contained here can be used as a basis for environmental education and as a supplement to the worksheets included on the website. 2) The story/comics level is intended primarily for schoolchildren and students. Together with the worksheets, it can be used for environmental education of children aged 10 - 15.
