Comparison of immunochemical determination of NT-proBNP on Siemens Atellica IM and Roche Dohas 6000 analytical systems

Abstract

Natriuretic peptides, to which NT-proBNP belongs, play an important role in regulating the function of the cardiovascular system. They are used in the diagnosis of clinical problems associated with left ventricular dysfunction.

This dysfunction can be accompanied by ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension, valvular defect or primary myocardial disease.
