Publication at Faculty of Social Sciences |

Abstract

This text deals with the issue of identifying disinformation messages by ordinary media users in the communication flow on online media platforms, which, due to their characteristics, are the most frequent host of disinformation content. It leans on the concept of three types of reading text according to Stuart Hall (2021).

In the context of this theoretical source, it explains how the receiver must approach disinformation content in order to identify it. It also offers a list of basic orientators that appear in disinformation messages on various communication platforms in cyberspace.
