Prosecution of theft of socialist property in Czechoslovakia 1948 - 1990

Abstract

The focus is on the different legal protection of collective, so-called socialist and individual (personal) property. The article analyses how the issue was assessed by contemporary authorities of legal practice, namely the Prosecutor General and the President of the Supreme Court of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in 1973.
