Heidegger's history of metaphysics: subject and system - conception, possibilities, limits

Abstract

This is another of a series of regular workshops dedicated to selected parts of M. Heidegger's important texts.

The topic of this workshop are passages from Heidegger's monograph Nietzsche II., specifically VIII. a chapter that deals with the basic character, direction and significant changes in the history of metaphysics. Specifically, this run will deal with changes in the basic metaphysical standpoint at the beginning of the modern age.

The fulfillment of the work in the workshop consists in reading, detailed interpretation and intensive discussion of the observed passages and motifs.
