Abstract
The presented analysis is a preparatory step for the research on the higher construction of the text (global coherence) in the Prague Dependency Treebank. We analyzed the phenomena related to the higher structuring of the text, the marking of which was done as a by-product of the annotation of implicit discourse relations.
These phenomena form four larger groups, which we describe in more detail: phenomena of the internal structuring of one narrative line, changes of perspective in the text due to the change of speakers, phenomena of the external structuring of the text and phenomena related to genre rules. We also tried to include these phenomena in the overview of existing or planned aspects of textual analysis in the Prague Dependency Corpus as a proposal of an enrichment of the analysis of textual coherence.
