Abstract
The chapter provides a commentary on the representation of a party to civil proceedings, both legal representation, representation on the basis of a power of attorney and representation by a guardian. As part of the 1st update of the 3rd edition of the publication, major changes have been added to reflect amendments to the Civil Procedure Code, new case law and new specialist literature on the subject
