The dynamics of social exclusion: the evolution of the spatial distribution of people in material need
Abstract
An interactive online map and data application visualize the number, proportion and over-representation (location quotient) of recipients of the subsistence allowance for living. The map display is scaled dynamically from the whole Czech Republic, through regions, districts of municipalities with extended competence (SO ORP), municipalities, administrative districts in Prague, city districts to the level of basic settlement units (ZSJ).
At the same time, it shows the development in time in the period 2015-2020, respectively in each of these years the situation as of 30 June and 31 December. For the display of the development it is possible to use automatic animation at a selectable speed, which can be increased or decreased, or to select the viewing manually.
