Abstract
The critical catalog is a publication providing information about the Prague Suburbs exhibition. The exhibition entitled "Prague Suburbs" offers a very unconventional geographical targeting in terms of general interest in Prague issues.
While most historical publications prefer the historical centre of the city, the individual parts of the exhibition inform us about the growth of the metropolis on the edges using thematic probes into the social structure of the suburban zone in four historical periods - from the mid19th century to the present day. In addition to information about the city in the details of districts, city parts, districts or cadastral territories displayed in cartographic representation, the authors of the exhibition also offer case studies of selected suburbs.
