The Czech legal order is interwoven with a large set of EU regulations. Whether it is for example harmonization through regulations, directives or decisions adopted by the institutions of the European Union, or the influence of the Treaties themselves on the activities of individuals moving within the territory of EU Member States.
Although the proper application and interpretation of EU law is a general obligation, the final monopoly of interpretation is in the hands of the Court of Justice. The aim of this article is to provide a comprehensive and simple guide on how to prepare a submission to the Court of Justice in order to help fellow lawyers to increase the persuasiveness of their arguments and thus the success of the case.
