Are there any predictive examinations for sperm retrieval in azoospermic men?

Abstract

As sperm can be found in about 50% of TESE/ICSI patients with non-obstructive azoospermia, an evaluation of the predictive value of hormonal, biochemical and clinical examinations is the aim of this pilot study. While FSH and previous histologic examinations may be helpful, should not exclude any patient from the TESE/ICSI procedure.
