Abstrakt
Life sciences were an important part of research and teaching at the Faculty of Science of the German University of Prague, which was newly founded in 1920. During the lecture important personalities and the most important research focuses of the individual institutes were introduced.
At the same time, the degree of cooperation of scientists working at the German University with both Czech and foreign colleagues was taken into account. In the last part of the lecture, the individual fates of scientists working at the German University were highlighted, with an emphasis on those personalities who despite the unfortunate political situation, strived to build scientific and cultural German-Jewish-Czech cooperation.
