Abstract
The paper presents selected results of a four-year interdisciplinary project "Recreational purposes of Vltava river cascade and its economical potential under the climate change" including climate change scenarios, their impacts on the water balance at the Vltava cascade of river dams and socio-economic implications of recreational use of the area. The results of the modelling will be publicly available by the end of year 2022 in a web application.
The app is designed mainly as a support tool for the strategic management of the Vltava cascade by Povodí Vltavy, state enterprise, but may also be useful for many other subjects e.g. in the field of spatial planning or tourism.
