Abstract
The contribution explains the emergence and importance of the document The Foundations of the Social-Ethical Orientation (ZSEO) of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in the context of the discussion after the Second Vatican Council. It compares the document with similar documents summarized in the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church.
It points out the necessary temporality and obsolescence of social-ethical documents. It describes the pros and cons of the document ZSEO and suggests the need for and method of working on new social-ethical documents in the Church.
