Abstract
The millennial concept ushered by the founder and leader of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ) is not common among conservative Evangelicals. It can be categorized as progressive and realized.
According to the founder, Man Hee Lee, the Millennium started after a short preparation in 1984 without any world catastrophes. The "great tribulation", however, is to be expected.
It comes immediately after the number of 144,000 called members of SCJ is completed. All these and many other events are drawn from the book of Revelation, distinctively interpreted by Man Hee Lee.
