Abstract
Using the conceptual metaphor POLITICS is a GAME, within which we have considered more particular elements POLITICS is SPORT, POLITICS is a GAME OF CARDS, POLITICS is THEATER and POLITICS is actually a GAME as entertainment, helps the speaker to present political activity as an event that can take place right in front of the audience and the result of which is not predetermined (POLITICS is a SPORT, POLITICS is a GAME OF CARDS), and an action that can be played out according to a certain scenario (POLITICS is THEATER).
