Prohibition of competition of a member of the statutory body of a private limited company in the light of the so-called major amendment to the Business Corporations Act 2012

Abstract

The paper discusses the prohibition of competition of a member of the statutory body of a private limited company since the amendment of the Business Corporations Act 2012 implemented by the Act No. 33/2020 Coll. The authors deal with the interpretation of the statutory prohibition of competition (also using its purpose) as well as the consequences of its violation.
