This paper deals with Antisemitism in Habry during two different periods. The first begins in the year 1900 and ends with the German occupation.
This is followed by the second part, ending in 1942, when the Jews from Habry were murdered. The work is based primarily on an analysis of Antisemitism from unpublished archival materials and the texts of the lost chronicle of Habry.
The analysis is based on important historical documents of unique value due to the fact that they have been lost. The hostile attitudes also spread by newspaper articles, which played a role in shaping the view of Jews from Habry, were in many aspects consistent with the later Nazi occupation.
However, there are differences between Czech Antisemitism in the 20th century and the Nazi occupation. The Nazis were primarily interested in the annihilation of the Jews.
The aim of this research is to point out Antisemitism in Czech history to enable Czech society self-reflection by looking into their historical manifestations, to deepen its responsibility and to restore confidence in its own contemporary humanitarian values through the necessary actions, taking into account the still unrepaired historical damage.
