Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has had a negative impact on the everyday lives of adults and children. People with psychological problems have been affected to a higher degree.

This article discusses the impact of the pandemic and restrictions on children with ADHD. How the Pandemic influenced symptoms of ADHD, overall mood, physical activity, and other aspects of everyday functioning.

The school closure and online teaching are more demanding for children with ADHD. But the overall impact is very individual and some issues will be probably more obvious in the future.

The cooperation of the school, family, andmental health professionals is crucial for the limitation of negative consequences of the pandemic on children with ADHD.
