Abstract
The paper focuses on the issue of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), both at the international level, especially with regard to their military use, and primarily at the national level in relation to the use of drones in the activities of the Police of the Czech Republic. At the same time, the text provides examples of existing models used in war operations and by police forces, including their selected technical parameters.
