Abstract

The Chapter first discusses the Royal Widows of Central Europe and their foundings and patronage Activities. It then introduces the founding and patronage activities of the Royal Widow Elizabeth of Hungary and then traces the Political Aspects of her Activities as well as her Spiritual Life.
