Ectopic chondroosteoid tissue formed by tricalcium phosphate

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate in vivo the possible osteoinduction potential of two different bone augmentation materials and if ectopic bone formation could be induced when implanted subcutaneously to the extremities of the pigs.
