Abstract
His diplomatic work abroad and his exile in the USA opened up the opportunity for the historian to draw on many of Masaryk's ideas and actions in foreign countries. Thus, the philosopher first approached the high school and university student.
He then guided him through his life as a teacher and statesman, through his scientific and diplomatic career, and influenced his work posthumously during and after the Second World War.
