Abstract

Hyperbaroxic oxygen therapy (HBOT) is used in the therapy of various acute conditions associated with e.g. gas intoxication or air embolism, but it can also be used in the therapy of diabetic foot syndrome (DFS) due to its positive effect on wound healing and an indirect effect on the quality of life and resocialization of the sick.
