Abstract
Transplantation is the method of choice in the treatment of organ failure. Primary care for these patients is provided in transplant centers, but due to the increasing number of these procedures and the favorable long-term results, doctors outside transplant centers also routinely meet patients after transplantation in their offices.
A collective of authors educated in transplant medicine has prepared a systematically classified view of the issue of organ transplants. The monograph offers a unique opportunity to orientate yourself in the issue of organ transplantation.
