Abstract

The loss of the ability to control defecation and hold urine is one of the serious disabilities of women of any age and is reflected in all areas of social life. Unwanted and unintentional leakage occurs with incontinence urine to such an extent that it causes an unacceptable hygienic, social and economic situation for the affected person, and therefore negatively affects her quality of life.

In many cases, incontinence can be completely cured or at least its symptoms can be significantly reduced, which leads to the patient's return to normal life (so-called social continence). The subjective feeling of "urinating" is perceived individually and depends mainly on the patient's health and age, job title, level of physical activity or social activities.
