Objective: In this article, the authors describe the most common indications of fetal MRI and the appropriate imaging technique. Methods: Fetal MRI image acquisition is explained for the most common indications.
The technique is illustrated by various cases. Results: MRI has become an indispensable imaging tool for prenatal diagnosis, characterization, and postnatal management planning of fetal neurological or body anomalies.
Conclusions: Fetal MRI is an essential diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of challenging and complex fetal anomalies.
