Abstract
The aims of the seminar are: - an introduction to the Czech academic environment and the context of humanities studies; - getting the basics of academic skills, including understanding, interpreting and reflecting on professional texts and creating one's own text - working with specific texts is used to demonstrate and develop the skills and procedures needed for further education in the chosen study program, including the value of the presence of different opinions, the ability to listen the opinions of others, etc. The course has a seminar character, i.e. it requires ongoing preparation and active work in class.
The final evaluation consists of the evaluation of the ongoing work in the semester and the seminar work. General conditions of attestation: - regular participation in proseminar classes; - regular preparation for work in classes; - preparation of assigned written tasks in appropriate quality
