Abstract
Supportive treatment and care are an integral part of modern oncology. Preventive and therapeutic recommendations are essential and are given for: extravasation of cytostatics, oral damage, radiodermatitis, care for oncological wounds, anemia, neutropenia and metastatic skeletal involvement.
Multidisciplinary and multiprofessional cooperation is more than necessary and the cooperating patient also plays an important role for the success of our efforts.
