Abstrakt
Text corpus like Corpus Hispánico y Americano en la Red: Textos Antiguos (CHARTA) have served to philological analysis of medieval and modern Spanish documents. However, their use has been very limited in paleographic and diplomatic studies.
The aim of this paper is to take advantage of this set of texts to retrieve quantitative information that will be useful in history of writing and documents through the Late Middle Ages. However, it should be emphasised that all findings made for this article are provisional and may have to be reconsidered in the light of further analysis.
