Abstract
This paper studies cross-lingual transfer for dependency parsers, with the aim to study ways to mitigate word order differences between the source and the target language in transfer. We show how to learn and implement reordering strategies for target words, that, when used in pre-processing, allow us to improve the parsing accuracy in a zero-shot transfer scenario.
