Abstract
All over the world, computational thinking is being introduced into school education. The workshop will focus on defining this term, what are its main characteristics.
Afterwards, workshop participants will analyse a set of tasks selected from the Bebras informatics contest, which is organized each year for primary and secondary school pupils and students around the world. The task of the participants will be to solve a set of the Bebras tasks and to examine and explain for each task how the task contributes to computational thinking development and how difficult each task is for the pupils/ students.
Workshop participants will work in small groups.
