Abstract
This study examines the importance of sacred music presence in music education classes in primary and secondary schools. It highliths the vitality of sacred music for contemporary man and justifies its implementation in music education.
Moreover, the connection between folk traditions and sacred music is outlined, thus showing a possible way of its grp in the context of education.
