Abstract
The study deals with the position of the Czech labour law within the system of the national laws, especially in relation to the civil law. At the same time, the necessary jurisprudence is taken into account, in particular the ruling of the Constitutional Court.
The next section analyses the position of the Czech labour law within the system of the European law and especially the influence of the European law to the national regulation.
