Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on the topic of weapons amnesty, especially on balancing the last one, which took place in 2021, not only numerically. In the article, the author also draws attention to the implications of weapons amnesty for criminal law in connection with the institute of effective remorse.
A considerable part is then devoted to possible predictions, including criminological ones, which a weapon amnesty may bring in the future.
