Jean-Sébastien Guy's work was to overcome the disjunction of structure and action. In this talk, I will show how this disjunction is deeply rooted in some contemporary social spheres such as educational reforms.
And how his theory can be extended to other problems. His work inspires us not only to look for metric and non-metric forms, but also at how and where the disjunctive logic of "winner take all" is embedded in our society and causes an exploitative approach to other people, to communities, and ultimately toward the entire planet.
