Abstract
The treatment of inflammatory rheumatic diseases has recently made significant strides in improving the fate of patients, including their quality of life. Nevertheless, a significant proportion of patients remain unaffected by some manifestations, if at all.
These persistent symptoms include in particular fatigue, partly related directly to the mechanisms of disease activity, and another part may be due to comorbidities or other manifestations of "rheumatic disease", such as anaemia, depression, psychosocial deprivation.
